 Sleep in and come out New Year’s Day to kick off 2011 as your best year of running yet. The River Run 5k is a flat and fast 5k course that runs out and back on the path downtown along the Scioto River. Come ready to race, come hung-over, bring a friend or just yourself but be sure not to miss a great way to run into the New Year! As the first ever runcbus event a portion of race proceeds will go towards the runcbus scholarship fun

Also, in conjunction with the Columbus Marathon registration kickoff we are also doing a "Beat The Race Director" contest:

Columbus Marathon race director Darris Blackford will be running the race and is offering complimentary entries for the 2011 Columbus Marathon to any runner that beats him to the finish line. That means you need to get training and make this year’s River Run really worth your while!

 Pre Race Packet Pick Up:

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up:

9:30 am at North Bank Park

 Awards Presented to:

Top 3 overall male and female finishers, top individual male and female masters and top 3 male and female overall in each of the respective age groups: 14 an under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over
